Please read these Terms before you register. When you tick the box to agree and register, these Terms become an agreement between you and SHOOLIN PROJECTS, a sole proprietorship of Sahil Shivayn. If you don't agree, please don't register.
Key points
- Registering is free during the pilot (the pilot period, as announced on conos.in).
- Nothing about you is shown publicly until you choose to publish it.
- "ConOS Verified" means only that a stated detail matched a source on a stated date.
- You can delete your account at any time. Some records are kept for a limited time because the law requires it (clause 11.4).
1. About ConOS and who runs it
1.1 ConOS is a construction network for Gurugram and nearby areas that is being built. When it opens, it will help homeowners, developers, contractors, professionals, testing labs, suppliers and equipment owners connect and work with each other. Our promise: Join the Construction Network. Today, only early registration is available (clause 2).
1.2 ConOS is not a simple directory. We will show what is self-declared and what we have checked, so you can compare people on proof. We do not list businesses that have not signed up.
1.3 ConOS is a brand and platform. It is not a company. ConOS is run by SHOOLIN PROJECTS, a sole proprietorship of Sahil Shivayn, with its principal place of business at 89, Pyramid Square, Sector 67A, Gurugram, Haryana 122101. In these Terms, "we", "us" and "ConOS" mean SHOOLIN PROJECTS, that is, Sahil Shivayn as its proprietor. "You" means the person who registers or uses ConOS, and, where that person accepts these Terms for a business, also that business.
1.4 Our Privacy Policy at https://conos.in/privacy/ explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights. The version that applies to you is the one shown when you register, and we keep a record of it. If we change the Privacy Policy, we will tell you, and where the law requires your fresh consent we will ask for it separately. Agreeing to these Terms is not, by itself, consent to optional marketing or to any new use of your data.
2. Registering before launch
2.1 ConOS has not opened yet. On conos.in you can register early. To do this, you choose your role, enter your name and locality, verify your own mobile number with a one-time code (OTP), tick the box to agree, and enter an invitation code if you have one.
2.2 We use these details to set up your account before launch. Nothing about you is shown publicly until you choose to publish your profile. Registering does not create a public listing.
2.3 Registering makes you self-declared. It does not make you ConOS Verified (see clause 6).
2.4 You can also tick a separate, optional box to get news and offers from us by email. It starts unticked, you don't have to tick it to register, and saying no changes nothing else. You can withdraw at any time in the ways our Privacy Policy describes, including by using the unsubscribe link in any ConOS email, or emailing privacy@conos.in. OTP and service messages never contain offers.
2.5 Features described on conos.in that are not live yet are planned. They may change, start later or not start at all. We will tell you when they open.
3. Who can use ConOS
3.1 You can use ConOS only if:
(a) you are 18 years or older and can enter into a contract under Indian law;
(b) you are in India, and use ConOS for work or property in India; and
(c) you register for yourself, or for a business you own or are authorised to act for.
3.2 If you register for a business, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these Terms for it.
3.3 If we find that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it and delete its data, except records the law requires us to keep (clause 11.4).
4. Your account
4.1 One person, one account. Each person may have only one account.
4.2 Your own mobile number. You must register with a mobile number that is yours and that you use, and verify it by OTP. Don't use someone else's number.
4.3 Keep your phone and OTPs safe. Never share an OTP with anyone, including anyone who says they're from ConOS. Tell us at once if you think someone else is using your account. We will look into it and take reasonable steps to secure the account. Who is responsible for any loss from misuse depends on the facts and the law, including what each of us did or failed to do.
4.4 You may not sell, transfer or share your account.
5. Your content
5.1 Your profile content is yours. This includes your name, business details, photos, project details, documents you choose to share, and anything else you add ("your content"). Today the website collects only what our Privacy Policy lists. You can add other profile content once the ConOS app opens.
5.2 The permission you give us. You allow us to store, copy, resize, format, translate and show your content on ConOS, only as needed to run and secure ConOS and to show your content in the way you have chosen. Our service providers may handle it for us only for these purposes, as our Privacy Policy explains. This permission is non-exclusive and free of charge. We don't sell your content. This permission doesn't replace any consent the law requires for your personal data.
5.3 It ends when you delete. When you remove content or delete your account, this permission ends for that content. We will remove it within the time given in our Privacy Policy, except records the law requires us to keep (clause 11.4) or that we need for a live complaint or dispute. Content that others already saw or that was shared with them in a message can't be recalled from them.
5.4 You confirm that you own your content or have permission to use it, and that sharing it on ConOS doesn't break any law or anyone's rights.
6. Accurate proof, photos and labels
6.1 Be truthful. Everything you add must be true and current. Photos must show real work that you or your business actually did. Documents must be genuine and yours. Don't present edited, AI-generated or someone else's photos or documents as your own real work or proof.
6.2 Two labels.
- Self-declared: you told us this and we have not checked it.
- ConOS Verified: we have checked a specific detail against a source. The label shows what was checked and the date it was checked.
6.3 A "ConOS Verified" label means only that the stated detail matched the source on that date. It is not a guarantee of quality, safety, price or future work.
6.4 We may withdraw a label or ask you to verify again, for example if a document expires, the details change, someone complains with good reason, or we find a mistake. We will tell you why, unless the law stops us.
6.5 AI-made or altered media. "Synthetic media" means audio, images or video made or changed by a computer so that they look or sound real and show a real person or event. Ordinary editing, such as cropping, brightness, colour correction or compression, that doesn't change what the content shows is not synthetic media. You must not upload or share synthetic media that is unlawful, for example sexual content involving children, intimate images of someone without their consent, a false document or record, material about making explosives, arms or ammunition, or anything that falsely shows a real person saying or doing something, or an event happening, in a way likely to deceive. Any other synthetic media must be clearly labelled as AI-made or altered, and you must not remove or hide such a label or its technical markers.
6.6 Our name and labels. The ConOS name, logo and the "ConOS Verified" label belong to us. Don't use them, or claim to be verified by ConOS, except as ConOS itself shows it. Stop if we withdraw a label.
7. What you must not do
7.1 You must not:
- create a fake profile, a second account or an account for someone else without their authority;
- pretend to be another person or business, or falsely claim a link with anyone;
- send spam, bulk or unwanted messages, or use ConOS for chain messages or unrelated advertising;
- copy, scrape, crawl or collect profiles, phone numbers or other data from ConOS, by hand or with tools;
- use someone's contact details from ConOS for anything other than talking about the work, or share or sell them;
- write fake reviews or ratings, or offer, ask for or accept anything in return for a review or rating;
- upload an Aadhaar card or Aadhaar number;
- harass, threaten, cheat or discriminate against anyone; or
- try to break into, overload or disrupt ConOS, or get around its limits or security.
7.2 Content that is not allowed. In short: no fakes, no hate, no illegal content, and nothing that belongs to someone else. You must not post, upload, send, store or share anything that:
(a) belongs to someone else and you have no right to use;
(b) is obscene, pornographic or paedophilic, invades someone's privacy (including bodily privacy), insults or harasses anyone because of gender, is racially or ethnically offensive, relates to or encourages money laundering or gambling, is an online game that causes harm to users, or promotes enmity between groups on grounds of religion or caste with intent to incite violence;
(c) is harmful to children;
(d) breaks someone's patent, trademark, copyright or other rights;
(e) misleads people about where a message came from, or knowingly and deliberately spreads misinformation or anything plainly false, untrue or misleading;
(f) pretends to be another person;
(g) threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, India's friendly relations with other countries, or public order, encourages any cognisable (serious) offence, gets in the way of investigating a crime, or insults another country;
(h) contains a virus or any code designed to harm or interfere with a computer, system or data;
(i) is a false or fake document or record, or unlawful synthetic media (clause 6.5);
(j) is an online game, or an advertisement or promotion for one, that is not allowed under Indian law; or
(k) breaks any law in force.
7.3 If you break these rules, we may remove the content, limit or suspend your account, or close it (clause 11). If the law says something must be reported, we will report it to the proper authority.
8. Invitations and credits
8.1 We plan to run an invitation and credits programme. Details will be announced.
8.2 Nothing is offered under it, and nothing can be earned, before 2 November 2026. It will start only when we publish its own terms, and it will run only under those separate terms. Nothing in these Terms promises any credit, reward or amount.
8.3 An invitation code on conos.in only shows who invited you. It does not give you or the person who invited you any right to a reward unless the separate terms say so.
9. What ConOS does not promise
9.1 No guarantee of work. We don't promise that you will get any work, enquiry, lead, client or result through ConOS.
9.2 No guarantee of anyone's work. ConOS does not do construction work and does not supply goods. We don't guarantee the quality, safety, price, timing, licences or conduct of any professional, business or client, even one with a ConOS Verified label. A ConOS Verified label covers only the detail and date it shows (clause 6.3).
9.3 We are not part of your deal. Any agreement for work, goods, price or payment is only between the users who make it. ConOS is not a party to it, is not an agent of either side, and does not collect or hold payments for it. During the pilot, no orders are placed and no payments are made on ConOS.
9.4 Check before you hire. Before you agree to anything, check the person's identity, licences, past work, insurance and references yourself. Make a clear written agreement, and pay in the way you agree with them.
10. Fees
10.1 The pilot is free. "The pilot" means the pilot period, as announced on conos.in. Registering and using ConOS during the pilot is free for you.
10.2 We can't promise how ConOS will work in the future. If we ever introduce a fee, we will tell you clearly before it applies: what it is for, how much it is, and when it starts. You won't be charged unless you choose to use a paid service after that notice.
11. Suspension and closing accounts
11.1 Before we act. If we think you have broken these Terms, we will normally tell you what we think happened and give you at least 7 days to reply before we suspend or close your account. This does not apply to content that breaks clause 7.2 or to urgent cases under clause 11.2. In those cases we may remove the content or suspend access immediately, as clause 12.4(a) also says.
11.2 Urgent cases. We may act first and explain afterwards if waiting could cause harm, for example in cases of fraud, impersonation, a risk to someone's safety, unlawful content, a court or government order, or a security threat. We will then tell you why, unless the law stops us, and you can ask us to review it.
11.3 You can leave at any time. You can delete your account at https://conos.in/delete-account/. Our Privacy Policy at https://conos.in/privacy/ explains how we delete your data.
11.4 What we keep after deletion. We delete your account data from active use within 30 days of a verified request, except:
(a) Registration information: 180 days. The Information Technology Rules, 2021 require us to keep the information you gave us to register (your role, name, locality, mobile number, invitation code, if any, and the relevant dates) for 180 days after your registration is cancelled or withdrawn, whether by you or by us;
(b) Removed content: 180 days. If content is removed or blocked because of a court or government order, a complaint, or because it breaks clause 7.2, the law requires us to keep it and its related records for 180 days for investigations; and
(c) Other records for the periods in our Privacy Policy, such as consent records, security logs and a coded "do not contact" record, which we keep so that we never contact you again if you asked us not to.
We keep these records locked away and use or disclose them only for legal requirements, lawful requests, security, or a live complaint or dispute. We delete them when the period ends, unless a court or an authorised government agency lawfully requires us to keep them longer.
11.5 If we stop running ConOS, we will give you reasonable notice first.
12. Our role as an intermediary, takedowns and reminders
12.1 For content that users post, ConOS acts as an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, to the extent the law provides. Our own statements, including ConOS Verified labels, are not user content and are covered by clause 6.
12.2 Orders. If we receive an order from a court, or a reasoned written notice from an officer authorised by the government in the way the law requires, we will remove or block the content within three hours of receiving it.
12.3 Complaints. Anyone, with or without a ConOS account, can complain to our Grievance Officer about content on ConOS (clause 16). We will act within the times in clause 16. If a person, or someone acting for them, complains about content that shows that person's private area, shows them fully or partly nude or in a sexual act, or impersonates them electronically, including artificially morphed images, we will take all reasonable and practicable steps to remove it or block access to it within 2 hours of receiving the complaint.
12.4 Regular reminders. At least once every three months, we will remind users that:
(a) if you break these Terms, our Privacy Policy or our rules, we may immediately suspend or end your access, remove the content, or both;
(b) if you share unlawful content, you may face a penalty or punishment under the Information Technology Act, 2000 or other law; and
(c) if the law requires an offence to be reported (for example under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 read with the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, or the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012), we will report it to the proper authority.
At least once a year, we will also tell you about our rules, Privacy Policy and these Terms, or any changes to them, in English or Hindi as you choose.
12.5 Requests from authorities. If an authorised government agency sends us a lawful written order for information or help in an investigation or for cyber security, we will provide it within the time the law sets (currently 72 hours).
13. Our liability and yours
13.1 We work to keep ConOS accurate and running, but it is provided as it is during the pilot. It may sometimes be unavailable or contain mistakes. We will fix problems within a reasonable time once we know about them.
13.2 We are not responsible for loss caused by another user's work, goods, conduct, prices or payments, or by any deal between users (clause 9), just because that user is on ConOS. This doesn't cover loss caused by our own acts, mistakes or misleading statements.
13.3 We are not responsible for indirect loss that neither of us could reasonably have foreseen when you registered.
13.4 Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for our own fraud, our gross negligence or wilful misconduct, death or injury caused by our negligence, misleading statements by us, or anything the law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, does not allow us to limit. Nothing takes away your rights as a consumer.
13.5 If you use ConOS for your business (for example as a contractor, professional, supplier or developer), and to the extent the law allows, you will cover ConOS's reasonable, proven losses and legal costs if someone else makes a claim against us because of false content you posted, your breach of these Terms, or unlawful or unsafe work you did. This doesn't apply to the extent the loss was caused by our own fault. We will tell you promptly about any such claim and won't settle it in a way that puts obligations on you without your agreement.
14. Changes to these Terms
14.1 We may update these Terms when ConOS, the law or our services change. Each version shows a version number and an effective date at the top, and earlier versions stay available to read. Changes apply only from their effective date, not to the past.
14.2 Minor changes. A minor change is any change that is not a major change, for example clearer wording, corrections, new contact details or new optional features. We will tell you about it through ConOS, by SMS, WhatsApp or email at least 15 days before it takes effect, and it takes effect on the effective date shown.
14.3 Major changes. A major change is one that:
(a) introduces a fee or charge, or increases one;
(b) lets us use your personal data for a new purpose or share it more widely;
(c) reduces your rights or remedies, or increases your obligations or liability; or
(d) changes who runs ConOS or who you have this agreement with (clause 17.6).
We will tell you at least 15 days before. A major change applies to you only after you agree to it by ticking a box the next time you log in. Until you agree, the earlier version continues to apply to you, but we may limit features that depend on the change. If you don't agree, you can delete your account at any time.
14.4 We will give shorter notice only where a change is needed to comply with the law or to deal with an urgent security problem, and we will then tell you as early as we can. Where the law or our Privacy Policy requires your fresh consent, we will ask for it separately.
15. Law and courts
15.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
15.2 Please contact our Grievance Officer first (clause 16), since most problems can be solved quickly. This is not a condition for using any legal remedy or seeking urgent relief.
15.3 The courts at Gurugram, Haryana have jurisdiction. This does not take away any right you have under the law to go to another court or forum. If you are a consumer, you can also contact the National Consumer Helpline (1915) or file a complaint with a Consumer Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
17. General
17.1 Contact. For general questions, write to privacy@conos.in or call +91 9315200336.
17.2 Language. These Terms are available in English and Hindi, and both are meant to say the same thing. If the two versions differ, the English version prevails. This does not take away any right the law gives you. Please tell us if you see a difference, and we will correct it.
17.3 Severability. If a court finds any part of these Terms invalid, the rest stays in force.
17.4 Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and any separate terms we publish for a specific feature (such as credits) are the whole agreement between you and us about using ConOS.
17.5 No waiver. If we don't enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
17.6 Transfer. You can't transfer your account or these Terms. We may transfer these Terms to a business that takes over ConOS, for example a company set up to run ConOS, but only if it takes on all our duties to you under these Terms and the Privacy Policy. We will tell you at least 15 days before. If you don't agree, you can delete your account before the transfer.
17.7 Events beyond control. Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events outside reasonable control. The affected side must tell the other where it can and take reasonable steps to limit the effects. This clause does not excuse anything the law does not allow us to exclude.
17.8 Electronic agreement and notices. These Terms are an electronic record and need no signature. We may send you notices through ConOS, by SMS, WhatsApp or email.
